The Granfondo Colnago Luberon Pays d'Apt promises to be an unmissable event for cycling enthusiasts in Provence. On September 27, 2026, the roads of the Luberon Regional Natural Park will welcome participants starting from the Apt lake, amidst ochre landscapes and iconic hilltop villages.
Routes and distances
Three options are offered to suit all levels. The 65km ride (approximately 925m elevation gain) is an accessible, non-timed format, open to e-bikes. The 101km mediofondo (long-distance ride) features approximately 1,700m of elevation gain through the most beautiful villages of the Luberon. Finally, the 155km granfondo (long-distance ride), with its 2,500m of elevation gain, represents the ultimate challenge, including mountain passes such as the Col d'Auribeau and a section across the Albion plateau. All routes traverse exceptional landscapes of ochre cliffs and Vaucluse hills.
Practical Info
The race starts at 9 a.m. from the Apt lake. The longer distances will be timed, and there will be an expo village and entertainment on site. Refreshments will be available along the routes, and the event is part of a weekend of sports including trail running and mountain biking.
